BAPD : Meet Jedditi (Grandma)
No one is exactly sure whats grandma's age ! not even herself,or any of her sons or daughters , but I'd say,she is as old as the wind scratching the face of that naked mountain she lives on,as old as the burning sun she came to make friends with every morning ,she even gave it a place to stay on her body ,between the wrinkles on her smiling cheek, right between the pumped veins on her hands pulling out the bucket from the well in the morning , right on her forehead holding the most delicious Taboon bread on her head taking it home .
Jedditi ; a tower of strength ,raised two daughters and four sons ,who caused her all kind of pain without them knowing ,when one of them was departed, and the others were jailed .
Today, when you go to visit Jedditi, you'll probably find a toddler or two of her grandchildren in her arms, clinging to her Toab (traditional dress) or just following her around . She raised them all,and when we -the ones away- come to visit her,she make it up for us for not being there for us to put us to bed when we were young !

To Falafel,or to Mansaf ; that is the question !
I've been doing a lot of visualizing and day-dreaming in the past couple of days about my come back to Jordan, and honestly I've been struggling with this issue ; what to eat 1st ? . Unless you've been away from "home" -wherever "home" is to you- long enough I don't think you're going to really understand the seriousness of this question !:D . I'm arriving at dawn ,I'll be home at breakfast time ,and this very 1st thing I’ll have in my mouth of our food is of a great importance ,I've been craving it for a year and a half now , following my successful Labaneh experience here, I'm only left with two vital players to choose from , to have a steaming hot fresh falafel ,or a Mansaf for that breakfast ? Before i came here I'd consider having Mansaf for breakfast a radical act ,but its all just a state of mind ,let me help you...Imagine that you came to visit me here in Thailand ,we'll be having rice and other stuff mixed with it for breakfast ! no tea no bread no nothing of that .. you'd eat it and be happy about it "wow exotic !!" think of having Mansaf the same way and its not such a bad idea anymore ... I really don't know what to do here ! Maybe have both?

Roberto Baggio
The only two things i know about Roberto Baggio are that he is Italian ,and that he missed that penalty kick at the world cup finale in 1994 in which Italy lost !
The Thailand experiment is officially over ,going back home next week . I bet this is how Baggio felt 15 years ago.
on the flip side,no more dogs!!
