تصفيق حار

كنت قد كتبت عن ما أسميته "متلازمة جمهور المسرح الأردني" قبل سنوات! والبارحة وبعد أن حضرت حفل الثلاثي جبران في جرش أطمئنكم أن العوارض مستمرة، بل أن أحدها ازداد ليتحوّل من درجة العارض إلى الداء المزمن، ألا وهو: التصفيق الحار.

نحن شعب يحب أن يصفّق، عندما يصعد الفنان للمسرح، نصفّق

عندما يجلس على كرسيّه، نصفّق

عندما يهش ذبابة عن وجهه، نصفّق

عندما نسمع أول نوتة من أول مقطوعة نعرفها، نبرهن على حسنا الثقافي العالي بأن "بعرفها" و.. نصفّق

عندما يتصاعد الفنان باللحن أو بالكلمة، نصفّق

قبل أن ينهي الفنان مقطوعته، نبرهن على أنّنا نعرف أن النهاية اقتربت بأن... نصفّق

نضيّع على أنفسنا ذروة العروض الفنيّة لأنّنا .. نصفّق

نضيّع على أنفسنا ألطف وأرق نوتة منخفضة بعد تصاعد صخب لأنّنا نصفّق

حتى بعد أن يقطع الفنان الحفل ليطلب منّا بأدب أن "نصمت" .. نصفّق!!!

ولكن، لم الاستغراب؟ نحن تعوّدنا أن نصفّق، بهدف أو بدون هدف، فاهمين ولا مش فاهمين، 

صفّقنا للطالب مسؤول الإذاعة المدرسيّة ..

صفّقنا لمدير المدرسة بعد أن ألقى علينا أوامره "أماماً..جانباً.. عالياً..أسفل خفض يا حيوان"

صفّقنا لأستاذ اللغة العربية عندما "ألقى" لنا قصيدة ولم يقرأها مرور الكرام

صفّقنا لورقة عباد الشمس حين تحوّل لونها للأزرق في مختبر الكيمياء

صفّقنا للتلفاز عندما "لقط" سوريا الثانية

صفّقنا للخروف عندما ذبحوه

صفّقنا لسحبة البلالين

صفّقنا حتى اهترأت أكفّنا.. صفقنا بكيفنا وغصباً عنّا، صفّقنا مجاملة وصفّقنا خوفاً وصفّقنا جهلاً وصفّقنا لإنو "عيب" حتى احترفنا التصفيق، نصفّق للجمال فنشوّهه، نصفّق للخزي فنكرّمه، نصفّق لأسيادنا ونصفّق لأشباحنا ونصفّق لكل شيء، نصفّق كل مرّة دون أن نفكّر لأننا ببساطة لا نحترم أنفسنا.

يحكى أنّ..عمّان احتضنت صوت الثورة

أكتب التالي وما زالت شعيراتي الدموية متضخمة من دفق الدم فيها بعد حفل فرقة اسكندريلا المصرية (فرقة الشارع) في دارة الفنون في عمّان. أريد أن أدوّن وأنا ما زلت محمولاً على غمامة الحلم؛ قبل أن أستيقظ منه فأحاول استرجاعه في الصباح التالي دون جدوى، أو لأستذكره مشوشاً مشوهاً وأملأ فراغاته بفلسفاتي.

أن تتعرف على شخص ما عن بعد ثم تلاقيه شيء جميل، الأكثر جمالاً هو عندما  تستنظر ما أنت على وشك أن ترى منه فيتجاوز المتوقّع ويصدمك بتواضعه وكياسته، وأكثر من ذلك، عبقريته وإحساسه اللذان يتخطيان الدين والجنس والجنسية ليكون المحرّك والدافع الأوحد لكل كلمة محكيّة أو مغنّاة وكل نوتة معزوفة هو الإنسان ونضاله وشوقه للحرية واحترامه للتضحية والشهيد ... الشهيد الذي كلّما غاب عن بالنا عاد وألقى تحية ملحّنة بعد أغنية، أو بعد بعد أغنية. شهيد فلسطين، وشهيد مصر، وكل شهيد روى دمه الأسفلت من أجل الوطن، في الوطن، كان حاضراً بحناجر انفلتت أوتارها سوطاً لاذعاً لكل متخاذل.

لا أذكر كم مرة هممت بالوقوف لتحية الفرقة بعد أن أنهت أداء أغنية أو وصلة موسيقية شرقيّة أو مقطوعة صوفيّة أو بعد أن ألقى شاعرها ملحمة عامّية، لكنّي أجزم أن شعر جسدي ناب عن قدميَّ بتحيّة وقوف متواصلة لأكثر من ساعة، فالذي رأيناه لم يكن مجرد كلمات مغناة على لحن معزوف فحسب، بل عرضاً فنياً متكاملاً صادقاً بكل تفصيلاته، حتى الشاعر الذي نسي أبيات شعره في غمرة انفعاله وتصفيق الجمهور المضياف.

اسكندريلا هي صوت من أصوات ثورة مصر النقيّة، الأهم من فنها هو الرابط الذي كوّنته معاني أغانيها وروحها بالشباب العربي، هذا التواصل الذي لم توجد حالة مشابهة له قبل ثورتي تونس و 25 يناير؛ تواصل الشباب العربي المبني على وحدة الفكرة والهدف، هذا التواصل هو الذي أنجح الحفل وملأ مقاعد الساحة قبل 45 دقيقة، وهو الكفيل بإنجاح ليلة أخرى أيقِن أنها لن تنسى على مدرّجات جرش في تمّوز!

The Five Obstructions – Denmark

Lars Von Trier asks one of his all-time favorite directors to re-do his acclaimed 1967 film “The Perfect Human” five different times, each time with certain (and new) conditions set by Lars.

Film-making enthusiast or not, I think you should find this film intriguing, ask yourself the following: what is the most creative creation you have ever done? Whether it’s a story, a painting, I don’t know… an origami! Whatever it is, how can you make it differently? Five different times! Sounds “impossible”? I don’t think so.

I generally find the human mind just fascinating, and this is another proof of that, now whether the whole film is too scripted or too spontaneous is irrelevant to what I liked best about it.

Turtles Can Fly – Iran(q)

long story short:

Few days before the American invasion, we find ourselves in a Kurdistani refugee camp close to the Iranian-Turkish borders, we are introduced to many kids, with a lot of disabilities due to mines explosions and follow couple of heart-breaking-mind-intriguing stories. And if you think you know everything about Iraq, think again.

If you’re a fan of non-stop laughing and crying, watch this film. One last thing, all the main characters in the film are children which the director had found over there, they're real, genuine and brilliant.

Dog Days – Austria

long story short:

I’m not sure how to categorize this one! It’s not your typical linear-storyline film, even though at times it is, and it’s not exactly a documentary film!

It tells the story of couple of Austrian people/families on the hottest day Austria had witnessed in a long time. I don’t think I’ll forget about this film anytime soon. The characters were well played, one “funny” homeless/hitchhiker girl was just brilliant.

If you like analyzing society and the drive behind human beings actions, you’ll have a lot to talk about after watching this.

Good bye Lenin! – Germany

long story short:

A woman goes into a coma before the fall of Berlin wall and wakes up after it’s been history. Her two kids have to deal with that!

Simply hilarious, loaded with political messages, beautiful directing.

Crimson Gold – Iran

long story short:

I’m getting used to hearing Farsi, I haven’t watched one disappointing Iranian film yet! This one is just as good as Children of Heaven and The Color of Paradise (get those as well btw, it’s important you get those!). Crimson Gold takes you inside Tehran, to see the social gap between the rich and the poor and what it can lead to. Brilliant acting by the main characters I may add, and a story line that tricks you right from the beginning.

!فيلم لبانسكي

حضرت قبل أيام عرض فيلم لرسام الجرافيتي الإنجليزي "بانكسي" بعنوان Exit Through The Gift Shop في "مكان" في جبل اللويبدة، الفيلم الذي حاولت تنزيله 4 مرّات خلال الشهر الماضي دون أي نجاح يذكر. المفارقة هي أنّي أشك بأن بانكسي نفسه ستزعجه فكرة "سرقة" فيلمه وقرصنته على الإنترنت، لكن لسبب ما انتهى بي الأمر بأربعة ملفّات "مضروبة" على جهازي... خوف الله خوف الله إنو هو اللي ورا هالقصة!

المهم، الفيلم لا يتحدث بشكل مباشر عن بانكسي، المفروض أنّه يتحدث عن مصوّر –ليس بالمعنى التقليدي للكلمة- مصوّر مهووس بتصوير الفيديو، ينتهي به الحال بأن يبحث عن فناني الشوارع في كل مكان، يذهب إليه ليصورهم ويصوّر فنّهم ومغامراتهم، وبعد أن يلتقي الرجل ببانكسي –أخيراً- وينال ثقته، يصوره أيضاً وتتطوّر الأمور عندما ينصحه بانكسي بأن يحاول أن يترك بصمته الشخصية على الجدران وفي الشوارع وبأن يقيم معرضاً "بسيطاً" كبداية... وهنا ينقلب الحال ويصبح الفنان الجديد المغمور حديث المدينة ويدرّ عليه المعرض حوالي المليون دولار ... مع أنّه أبعد ما يكون عن "الفن"، الموّجه منه كان أو العبثي، بل إن معرضه عبارة عن تقليد وخلطة –عالسبهللة- بطريقة لا تصدّق! ولكن بطريقة أو بأخرى: زبطت معه!

وين العبرة؟ الأخ المصوّر ذكرني بكثير من الأشخاص الذين أعرفهم، الذين يتقنون فن التلاعب بالكلام والادعاء، بالإضافة إلى العنصر الأكثر أهميّة –وكارثيّة- : القليل أو الكثير من الهوس والشغف تجاه فن ما! هذه الخلطة عادة ما تولّد "إبداعات" يمنة ويسرة وعلى جميع المستويات... الشغف تجاه أي شيء هو قيمة أكن لها أكبر احترام، لكن عندما تتواجد في الرؤوس الخاطئة هي كالسلاح بأيد ليست مؤهلة، برأيي.

أعتقد أن السؤال الذي ذكرني به بانكسي من خلال فيلمه هو: ما هو الفن "المحترم" وما هو "الفن" النص كم! وما الفارق بينهما؟ أعتقد أن قيمة الفن يصنعها المتلقّون سواء كان هذا بقرار واع أو من دون وعي، يكفي أن تدّعي أن عملك يدخل في إطار "الحداثة" أو "التجريب" لتغلق الباب على أي سؤال، بل لتزرع أيضاً في رأس أي من المتلقين أنّه من الاستحالة بمكان أن يكون هذا العمل تافهاً لا قيمة له، وأكثر من ذلك، ستجد المتلقي يعصر كل ذرة في دماغه ليجد تفسيراً منطقياً لما رآه أو سمعه، وفي حال لم يستطع فسيكتفي بفتح فاهه والإعجاب بالعمل الخارق للطبيعة الذي أفقده النطق.

إذاً، المشكلة في المتلقّي، والإعلام، والفيسبوك، والمجاملات...

يذكرني الحديث بصديق لي أخبرني عن صديقة له، بكت وأجهشت في البكاء بعد سماعها لقصيدة "درس من كاماسوترا" لمحمود درويش... والسؤال الذي كان يدور في رأسي عندها: هل فكّرت هذه الفتاة بأن تستمع للكلمات وتفهمها كما هي دون الإصابة بعقدة "مستحيل يكون القصد واضح"؟، القصيدة عبارة عن رأي الشاعر -أو درس- في كيفية التعامل مع حبيبتك قبل أن تغلقا الباب على نفسيكما، لا أكثر ولا أقل! أما صديقتنا فحوّلتها بطريقة ما إلى قصيدة وطنية مبكية!

الحل لمثل هذه المشاكل في رأيي هو بسيط للغاية، كن صادقاً في رأيك، ولا تخجل من كلمة "مش فاهم" أو "ما عجبني"، انتقد ولا تقلق إن كان نقدك بناءً أم لا، فقط انتقد إذا لم يعجبك شيء، واللي بدو يزعل من رأيك الله لا يرده.

ملاحظة: لا يوجد في عنوان التدوينة خطأ مطبعي، بل كانت تلك الجملة أوّل تعليق سمعته من الفتاة التي جلست خلفي أثناء العرض بعد أن بدأ الفيلم بثوان: آه... فيلم لبانسكييييي...

double posting : few Gazan kids, Tamam el ak7al and Ismael Shammout

This week has been great, I've had the chance to have two very interesting meetings, 1st one was with Tamam Al Akhal (artist and widow of the late Isamel Shammout), and the 2nd was with a few Gazan kids.

starting with the later, groups of Gazan kids are to travel to the USA through UN organization to speak at the UN HQ and learn about human rights and all, they stop by Jordan for a day or two, this week it was a group of 9th grader male kids, and we arranged for them to have some activities and fun instead of just going around shops and markets,  1st impression? they're just kids! I mean you go thinking "these are Gazans" and you -for some stupid reason- think you're going to encounter something unusual, but you don't, they were so pleasant to be around, funny and witty , so smart we couldn't play some games with them cuz they needed some to be not-so-alert so the game would go on for couple of minutes, but not with those guys!! of course being a Palestinian who live in Palestine you're automatically politically aware, so between the regular chi chat politics comes up, sometimes in the most unexpected way, like when we were introducing ourselves saying our names out loud and our favorite colors, the favorite colors in Gaza are either green or yellow! at 1st I was like "what kind of kid favors YELLOW for a color :/ ?" but it wasn't long before it hit me and I laughed my ass off, ps : Jabha isn't popular there no its not! 

We had a good time, they told me how they don't give a damn about what party do you support because they're all classmates and friends, but yet at the same time, if you starting picking on "me", i'll pick on "you", but at the end of the day "we don't care"! I hope they stay this way when they grow up some more ! These guys were so charming you have no idea, Thanks for Hakim who called me up to be part of this, and I hear there's more next week, can't wait for it.

Thanks for another friend, amazing director Dalia Kury, I got to meet one of my favorite artists of all time, Tamam Al Ak7al, and when you say Tamam you automatically think Ismael Shammout, if you're not familiar with her name or either of them you're sure familiar with their work, visit www.shammout.com there are selected paintings for both of them, and I have a story with these guys, I always heard about them from my parents, I've seen replicas of their work since I was a kid, Ismael Shammout is the pioneer of Palestinian art, to walk into their living room full of so many amazing original paintings was chilling to say the least, it was so overwhelming for me, I appreciate these people and their work more than I can put to words, I seriously couldn't get it together at 1st even though I was specifically asked to! and when she came out and sat with us...can't describe how nice this lady is, its like your neighbor who u knew since ever, so sweet and nice and easy going, we then moved to the gallery, the other room where she paints, we talked some more and listened to amazing stories about their journey, she then grabbed some old huge photo album, started showing us the pictures and telling us about each one, and it was as if she was telling us about something that happened yesterday "and in this one, we were with Darwish and friends at some place doing this and that", "this one here at our exhibition in ebsar wain, and here's when Abu Ammar came and joked with Ismael about being tall and all", "this is my sister,wearing the falla7i dress, look at her holding her purse", "these are the oranges fields, and you see here? this is how they used to wrap it in paper to be exported in these little boats, I used to steal a bunch of this paper and make a kite and fly it over the roof, and after that of course my dad would catch me and I'd akol atleh, I was the tom boy!" ! at times It felt as if I was kind of getting out of my body and look at us and think ; I am sitting with history! I am with someone who made a difference ,someone who lived through it all, and I'm bloody lucky! I savored every moment of it! these times are priceless and forever will remain precious.

Sunny Art Fair & The pictures I once ripped off a magazine

I made it to Sunny Art Fair today, it was the last day, and it was better than expected for the most part, hey Sunny people if you're reading this please let it not be the 1st (is it the 1st btw?) and the last one anyway, as in all art exhibitions I stood puzzled in front of some art works thinking; Is It Me Or Is This B.S ? to be honest, I also wonder if I'm just "not getting it", which piss me off, cuz I'm Mr.Everything-Has-To-Make-Sense-To-Me-Or-Else-Its-Non-Sense ! Emad Hajjaj's section was fun, seeing all those old sketches was interesting, a lot of names I didn't know but two artist by the names Dina Haddadin and Rawan Kakish actually made me want to read all the little biography pasted next to their work, superb young ladies,keep up the good work. oh and there's this guy called Hassan Manasrah (anybody knows him?) I found his work and style to be so close to this picture I ripped off a magazine (it had the works of Jordanian artists) couple of years ago and hung on my wall along with couple of other "pictures" or paintings if you will ,I meant to actually contact those ppl by then but when i googled their names I got no where and I don't recall any of them, so if you know the owner of any of the following art work please do tell, I've been having this art fair in my room for long time with no permission

and that's about it! oh yea I stopped taking pictures of anything I go to,especially live performances, I figured I spend too much time looking at things through the camera lens rather than enjoy being there,u can find some pictures if you want in Roba's post.

GRENDIZER is in the town people !(seriously)

Guess who's in Amman ?!?! no not Branjelina ,its GRENDIZER !! the maker of Grendizer (Mr. Go Nagai) will be at the Royal Film Commission-Amman ,on the 8th of October (check the facebook event for details ) ! Robot "Mazinger Z" will be there too (in person :D ) ,I mean ...for us ,"boys" who were born in the 80s ... can't describe our feelings towards Grendizer ...  الرزّّّّّّّّّّّّّّّّززززززة المزدوجة pew pew pewwwwww

تدوينة بلا عنوان

لأن مجد القصص لفتت انتباهنا اليوم من خلال مسرحية "مسرحية بلا عنوان" أن العناوين هي شيء أكثر من ثانوي بكثير ،هذا عندما يكون الإبداع و الإتقان سيّدا الموقف .

في البدء كان ترحيب مجد القصص بحضورها و تعريف بسيط بال Physical Theatre (المسرح الجسدي) ؛ "خليط من ما بعد الحداثة في الرقص و ما بعد الحداثة في المسرح" ، اعتقدت لوهلة أن العرض سيمر و أنا أحاول فك طلاسم المشاهد كما كنت أحاول فك طلاسم ما قالته .. ولكنّي أجزم أنّ الذي لم يفهم فلا بد أنّه أحسّ على الأقل ، والذي فهم لا بد أنّه تألّم .

عن القدس كانت المسرحية - الغير اعتيادية - بمعنى أنّها لم تكن "كلاسيكية" ؛ لا "ديكور" يصوّر الأبنية و الأماكن كما هي ولا حوار "تقليدي"...الغنوة كانت تجيب الكلمة أحيانا ، و أحيانا الآه ،و أحيانا أكثر الجسد كان يصرخ دون أن يصدر أي صوت . المقطوعات المنتقاة و المغنّاة في المسرحية كانت بحسن الاختيار و التنفيذ بمكان أنّك أحسست لوهلة أنّك لم تلحظ في حياتك تأثير الكلمة و اللحن في كل هذه الأغاني التي نعرفها كما فعلت اليوم ، كان للكلمة وقع و بعد جديدين . أمّا كم واقعية كانت هذه المسرحية التي اعتمدت مدرستي " ما بعد الحداثة في الرقص و ما بعد الحداثة في المسرح " فحدّث ولا حرج ، حتى الرضيعة التي كانت مع والديها بين الجمهور لم تبك و لم تحرك ساكنا ، كمثل باقي الجمهور (الذي مع الأسف لم يملأ الصالة ،مع أن هذا هو العرض العاشر للمسرحية في عمّان من شهر 2!!!) ،كمثل باقي الجمهور الذي ظل صامتا في مكانه يمسح دمعه أو يحبسه جاهدا . عادة ؛ أعد المرّات التي "وقف فيها شعر بدني" في مسرحية ما إذا حصل و كان جزء منها مؤثرا لهذا الحد ، اليوم لا أستطيع إحصاءا . مؤلم مؤلم الذي شاهدناه ... لم يكن ما طرح شيء مخفي أو غير معروف ، لم تكن قصة شخصية مؤثرة ..كانت ببساطة ما نعرفه كلنا عن القدس وما حصل لها ، لكن بجرعة مركّزة و "رقص" معبّر و حركة تثير عاصفة في معدتك !

شكرا يا مجد القصص و شكرا يا فريق العمل ، أتحفتمونا و تركتم فينا ما سنذكره إلى وقت ليس بالقصير .

و اللي ما إجاش عالمسرحية راحت عليه ، العرض القادم سيكون خارج المملكة في مصر و تونس !

JOTAS متلازمة جمهور المسرح الأردني

Jordanian Theater Audience Syndrome

أو متلازمة جمهور المسرح الأردني ، هي مجموعة عوارض مزمنة لمرض عصي عن التشخيص من ناحية الأسباب ، إلاّ أن هناك اجتهادات فردية هنا و هناك ، لكن لا شيء موثق .حضرت في اليومين الماضيين مسرحيتين ضمن فعاليات مهرجان الأردن ، طبعا أنا "متوحم" أحضر مسرحـ"نا" من حد ما رجعت ، أول مسرحية كانت مسرحية "صباح و مسا" لغنام غنام ، يعني صمنا سنتين و أفطرنا على عمل لذيذ ، فوق المتوسط بشكل عام ، أداء الممثلين لم يكن مملا على الإطلاق مع أن مدة العرض قربت الساعة ،الإيقاع كان يطلع و ينزل مرّات بس ماشي الحال ، الإضاءة كانت جيدة ، تم استخدام الديكور بشكل جيد معظم الوقت ، في النهاية كان عمل جميل الواحد طلع منّو متذكر أكمّن جملة على أكمّن مشهد ، و هذا بالنسبة إلي معيار العمل الجيد أو الغير جيد ،هل ترك شيء في ذاكرتك أم مر مرور الكرام ؟. العمل الثاني كان مسرحية "يوميات رجل مجنون" للمخرج قاسم ملكاوي ، كان مخيبا للآمال ولكن الأهم الذي أريد أن أتحدث عنه هو لعنة متلازمة جمهور المسرح الأردني ، الذي هو -الجمهور- قليل بالعادة إلا ما ندر ، و أوجه كلمة شكر هنا للسيد فيسبوك على مجهوده الكريم في التبليغ و التذكير و الدعاية للمسرحيات و كافة الأنشطة الثقافية ، نرجع لموضوعنا ، هذه المتلازمة ألحظها منذ أول مسرحية حضرتها في عمان ، و هي تنقسم إلى ثلاث أعراض رئيسية (من الأقل إزعاجا للأكثر إزعاجا ) هي كالتالي :

العارض الأول :التغويش

التغويش و الوتوتة و الحكي اللي ما إلو داعي و التصفير و الهبل الزايد عند خفت الإنارة قبل بداية العرض مباشرة ، يعني شرفيّا كل ما يجي يبلش عرض بتذكر رحلتنا مع المدرسة في الصف الرابع للقبة الفلكية في مركز هيا الثقافي ،و كيف الكل يتصيبو حاله هبلة جدا بحس فيها الواحد لحاجة ملحة لإنو يطلع صوت ،أو يحكي للّي جمبو "ييي شوف" أو "إيييه إيييه" أو "أووووووو" أو "بسسسسسسس" أو "هشششششش" أو "ممممواح" ! هذا النوع الأول ، النوع الثاني هو التغويش خلال العرض ، الأساتذة النقاد الفهمانين اللي قاعدين وراك،أو على جنبك أو قدامك بقدروش يستنو لحتى ما العرض يخلص عشان يحكو عن المشهد الفلاني "إفففف ما أبردو" ، أو "ياي شو نغش" أو "ها ها ها " أو "جميلة هاي" أو "قوية لألله" أو "ذكرني بإبن خالتي محمد لما رسب بالتوجيهي و أبو لحقو بكلشن و طخ بسّة من قهرو هاهاهاهاها" ...الخ ؛ لازم لازم يعبرو عن مشاعرهم داخل الصالة ! النوع الثالث (التغويش الإجباري) يصدر عن الشب النكد اللي لسّا ما يئسش من الجمهور (على الأغلب إنو أول مرة بحضر و مفكر إنو رح يجيب نتيجة اللي بدو يعملو)و بروح "بصرخ" : هششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششش بصوت عالي عشان يسكّت المغوشين من الفئة الأولى و الثانية ! الله يعطيهم العافية الشباب .

العارض الثاني : الموبايل بن غير الصامت

بجوز عرض من كل 10 ما بطلع في المخرج يرحب بالحضور قبل بدء أي مسرحية ،و بجوز بجوز مخرجين من كل 10 بترجوش الجمهور إنو مشان الله خلينا نطفي تلفوناتنا،أو نحطها عالصامت ، غنام غنام صار يهوي للجمهور أول مبارح (خلينا نتحدى اللي بتصل علينا إنو ما نرد عليه) بس عالفاضي ! كإنك حكيتلهم يحطو أزعج نغمة و أعلى صوت ، و رن يا موبايل،بطفي واحد من هون بشتغل الثاني من هناك ، و على رنة مسج بأول القاعة لرنّة مبدعة بآخر الصالة ،و مش إنو ينطفى عالسريع!لأأأأأ ،لازم ياخد وقتو ،و احتمال نص نص إنو يرد جوا الصالة برضو ،عادي جدا ، بعد ثلاث أربع تلفونات ما يرنو و يسكتو مين بطلع في الصورة ؟الفئة الثالثة من العارض الأول : تررررن ترررررررن ، ولك هششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششششش .... !! عفية

العارض الثالث : تصفيييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييييق

يلعن روما شو بجلطني التصفيق ، يا عمّي أكره ما علي بالعالم التصفيق في المسرحيات أنا ، بتكسر إيقاع الممثل ، بتكسر إيقاع المشهد ، الممثل يا بصير يخربط حكي لبيل ما الجمهور يهدا يا بكمّل حكي ،و إذا كمل حكي ؛ صحتين ! راح عليك باقي المشهد (اللي الشباب كثييييييييييييييير انبسطت عليه) و اتحزر انتا عاد و حاول إفهم شو بحكو ! اللي بجلط أكثر من فعل التصفيق نفسه هو السبب اللي بدفع 80% من الجمهور للتصفيق : إذا ممثل تصاعد (يعني كان بحكي جملة بدأها بصوت خافت ثم تعالا صوته لنهاية الجملة) الجمهور بتحس إنو عندو شعور قوي جدا جدا جدا جداااااااا إنو إذا صار في تصاعد معناتو لااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااازم التصفيق ، إنا عندي مشكلة مع التصاعد أصلا لإنو بمعظم الأحيان بكون "أوفر" زيادة عن اللزوم،و نشاز و حكي فاضي ، زي بمسرحية بلاش نحكي إسمها لمّا ممثل كبير من ممثلينا الكبار -برضو بلاش نحكي إسمو- أعطاها : فلانة ماتااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااتتتتتتتتت.....و تدحرج هيك و انفعل ، لك أن تتخيل عزيزي القارئ حالة اليوفوريا التي وصل إليها الجمهور في التصفيق ،شيء فوق الخيال جد ! بنحب المسخرة إحنا ! سبب آخر يدعو المصابين بالمتلازمة للتصفيق الحار : الإعتام بعد نهاية أي مشهد،أو في منتصفه أو انشالله بالغلط من فني الإضاءة ، بس تعتم من هون كإنك ماسك رشاش عراس الواحد و بدو يصفق لينجو بحياته ، عاد إلو داعي ،ما إلو داعي ،كان في إشي حلو،كان في إشي زبالة،ما بهم ،مازال عتّمت يعني لازم نزقّف !و السبب الثالث : النكت السمجة ! أي نكتة تافهة تدعو للتصفيق ، أو مثلا واحد أكل كف، أو واحد بصق على ..شو ما كان ،هاي كلها بتأجج مشاعر الحاجة للتصفيق ،ليش ؟ ما حدا بعرف

هلاّ عشان الواحد يحكي الحق ،مرات قليلة بتيجي مشاهد أو جمل تستحق التصفيق ،لكنّي شخصيا أفضل أن أراكم مخزون التصفيق كله للنهاية ..خلي الممثلين يعرفو يشتغلو و خلي الجمهور يعرف يحضر .

بس أول عن آخر يعني ... منيح إنو صاير في جمهور ، بس ما تخربوش العرض يعني . و نتمنى لكم الشفاء العاجل ! يلاّ : تصفيق حار لو سمحتو !

Smile ! you're in south Lebanon - إبتسم أنت في جنوب لبنان

Today i attended the screening of this movie إبتسم أنت في جنوب لبنان by the very talented Dalia Al Kury (also director of إحذر أمامك تعليق and عربيزي) at Daret Al Fonoun - Lwaibddeh (Amman).

The documentary was filmed in south Lebanon a year after the 2006 war when Dalia went to check on her relatives ! through it,you do realize how these people survive a war after a war and from where they get their strength ,so many black comedy situations (real situations) !like the toddler saying "2at3aaaat" when the electricity cut off...like making use of the TNT powder from the exploded bombs.... we also get to notice the very unique fabric of the Lebanese society even within one (extended) family ,who all live in south Lebanon,who are all of Palestinian origins like when two siblings asked if they have Hassan Nasrullah's picture in their houses and the two very different answers and justifications !

there is a lot of joy in the documentary ,so many laughs ! its just...u gotta watch it ! I'm not sure when is there another screening ,i'll make sure i'll post , but anyway you can get the original DVD from Dalia for 5 JD only .

So Waltz With Bashir , Israeli Movie about a massacare

Heard of it ? It wont a golden globe the other day ,Its an Israeli movie about an Israeli soldier who lost memories from the Sabra and Shatella massacre and Beirut invasion and tries to revive what happened along the movie , animation movie,really finely done ,the story was fine ,nothing to complain about ,the movie's title (Waltz with Bashir) came from a scene where an Israeli soldier during Beirut invasion after Bashir Jmayel was killed goes into hestiric shooting rampage and appears to be dancing the waltz with Bashir Jmayyel's big poster on a building behind him at that junction . Its a shame that Israelis had made a movie of this quality and credibility about Sabra n Shatella and Arabs didn't ! ... but that's not what this is about exactly .

So i have a new hobby ! making Arabic subtitles for TV series and movies, (The Big Bang Theory,The Office, Movies : Che Part One and Waltz With Bashir) and after the two movies, the biggest Arab translators on-line community (DVD4ARAB) invited me to their website n stuff and turned out the subs are fine and my Public school English teacher should be proud of me.

Here is what I'd like to pick your brains about, some of the comments i received there ,some of the opinions that says we shouldn't watch the movie ,because its an Israeli one ,Qathara (dirt,crap) and a waste of time !! and "Do you really believe the Israelis will make a movie that condemns them?" and such...

The problem is that those people didn't even watch the movie ! I don't understand the idea, I mean we've always seen and heard it,where some kind of boycott to some kind of art took place without even knowing what is it about,but i never understood it .Do you ??

And then here is another question , do you deal with art as art and thats it ? or where it came from matters ? don't think movies only, lets say music,poetry ,would you not listen to something made by an Israeli ? or whoever "the bad guys" to you are ? wouldn't you at least check it out to see what the hell are they talking about ?

Well I'm not .

Muhtaraf Remal is one of the places you must go-see if you live in Amman , and Abdel Aziz Abu-Ghazaleh ( I don't like to refer to him as the owner ,I'd say he is the one who take care of the place, and us,his friends,his so many friends ) is a person you won't regret meeting and talking to even if it was for a brief short time .

The Muhtaraf had held a number of events in memory of Mahmoud Darwish so far , the recent was couple of days ago in which they played this short film they produced for the occasion .

Next Friday September 19th Muhtaraf Remal is holding a unique event ,more than 150 kites will fly for the soul of the great poet mahmoud darwish, carrying his poetry and portraits to the sky (event details). The following day ,Saturday Muhtaraf Remal is holding a musical/poetry event at Mujamma3 Alnaqabat -Shmeisani (event details) Khaled Al-Haber will be there ! so trust me ,you don't wanna miss that !

Remal is one of those places that make you hate being abroad even more .Just in case you're wondering ,99% of the time there is no fees on entering Remal's events ,and i doubt these would be any different .

You Don't Mess With The Zohan !?

I admit ! I laughed my (ass/head) off at times !and then at times i crossed my eyebrows and wore my disgusted-annoyed-of-stereotyping face ,but then after a while there would be a joke and stereotyping about the Jews.and then i thought : well I'm laughing at their jokes ! why can't i be a sport and take it with a laughter ? and then conspiracy theories started to build up in my head,counting and measuring jokes,fights winners and stereotyping to see if the movie is biased (well whom am I kidding ?!i was making sure of how much they're biased ) but the problem is !I was enjoying the bloody movie !well the 1st half at least was full of laughter !

And then i thought ,bloody hell!why can't I enjoy it for what it is ?! but the worst part is,I didn't really know what to think .here is how the movie goes (won't spoil it) :

Zohan is an Israeli counter terrorist ,he is a combination of Superman, Spiderman, The Hulk (only he is not green and doesn't pump up,but he was already bumped up all the way in a certain area) ,Batman,Robin,3antar el 3absi,Qais Ebn El Molawwa7, Peter Petrelli (from Heroes) and Mo3taz from Bab El7ara all together .

His rival on the Palestinian Side is الشبح The Phantom ! who I'd say would be half Peter Griffin half Karati Kid ! and thats the 1st uneasiness in the movie.

Zohan's passion in life is hairdressing ,so he leaves to the States to pursue his dream ,where he end up being working at a Saloon owned by a Palestinian girl (the actress who played the role looked middle eastern but she isn't Arab) . Of course the story goes as each of you is thinking .but with a twist ,see ;the street where Zohan worked is Israeli on one side,and Palestinian on the other side . They'll have their share of disputes ,but to avoid taking sides on who "wins" or who are the good guys and who are the bad ones , the blame end up being on a group of rednecks ! Israelis and Palestinians eventually unite ( Background music : Mon Amuor,better known as Monamor ) and everybody lives happily ever after !

The movie isn't that bad really, each side had their share of the jokes ,Obama and Mc Cain as well :D If i had to delete one scene of the movie tho I'd delete that one where Zohan doesn't want to "fight anymore" and Phantom keeps teasing him about it trying to get him to fight him ! That was never been and never will be the case .

Another thing that bugged me, Ahmed Ahmed (from the Axis of Evil comedy tour) and other Arab/American comedians were given roles in this movie, but they were so tiny you wouldn't notice them if you don't know them.

Watch it and be the judge .

PS : there is couple of Arabic cussing words in the movie :D

PS II : Its 9/11 . I'm feeling an urge to mention that ,I have no clue why is that ! Shit Am I unconsciously guilty ?!?! anyway.Happy watching.

What da hell does "Manifesting" exactly means ?

I thought i had an idea on what does "Manifesting" means ! That until i came across this paragraph while reading in Coelho's "The Zahir" I'll quote :

"If someone is capable of loving his partner without restrictions,unconditionally,then he is manifesting the love of God.If the love of God becomes manifest, he will love his neighbor. If he loves his neighbor ,he will love himself. If he loves himself, then everything returns to its proper place"

So , two questions :
what does it mean to Manifest ? and what did you make of the former passage ? If you didn't get it please say you didn't , unless I'm the only one !

Note : To help you Manifest while getting the right words to get me to understand what does it mean to manifest ,I'll leave you with this .( i looked up "manifesting music" :D ) I hope it helps !

a visual masterpiece : The Fall

If you liked the movie "Big Fish" and thought it was really well made for a fiction movie , you must watch "The Fall" .

I didn't watch Tarsem Singh's (The director) 1st movie "The Cell" ,but I'll make sure to watch it sometime ! The movie is one continuous stream of fantasy portraits ,the colors,the scenery,the events ! its mind blowing , Its like watching good theater ,only in too many different places,with a bigger capacity !

And mark my word, Hollywood has a new child star ,memorize this name "Catinca Untaru" at times i wasn't really sure were she acting ? or were she just being herself ! and thats where you know an actor/actress has it !when you can't tell if they're acting or thats what they are in real ! you can't help but fall in love with this girl!

The movie is simply telling a story ! The story is being told by a patient -a stunt actor- to Alexandrea -the little girl - ,as the movie goes on, their relation develops ,and we get to know more about the girl's story .

Meanwhile ,there is a story of strength and despair of the story teller himself ,and the little girl become an important player in dealing with his situation !

And our little friend has a bit of a wild imagination ! add
that to the original story being told,the breath taking locations and scenery , and there you have it!
a visual masterpiece ,a memorable picture .

وزير الإعلام المصري : المسلسل(ناصر) لا يصلح للعرض في رمضان لأن مسلسلات هذا الشهر للتسلية فقط

انتقد فنانون وكتاب قرار وزير الإعلام المصري منع عرض مسلسل يتناول حياة الزعيم الراحل جمال عبد

الناصر على التلفزيون الحكومي، متهمين الوزير بـ"تسيس" الدراما الرمضانية لإلهاء الناس.

ويحكي المسلسل مسيرة جمال عبد الناصر في الفترة ما بين عام 1926 إلى يوم وفاته في سبتمبر/أيلول 1970

وقال الكاتب يسري الجندي مؤلف مسلسل "ناصر" إن قرار المنع "يتسم بضيق الأفق". وأضاف أن

المسؤولين "يخشون استحضار تجربة عبد الناصر أمام المصريين في الوقت الحالي".

وتابع الجندي للجزيرة نت "الحقبة الناصرية رمز للكرامة العربية والتحرر من التبعية للغرب، وإن عرض

هذه الملامح في ظل التردي المصري والعربي وحالة الانبطاح الراهنة بالتأكيد أمر مقلق لهم.. لكن عبد

الناصر وتجربته موجودان في قلوب الناس".

وانتقد الكاتب والسينارست الكبير أسامة أنور عكاشة عرض التلفزيون المصري مسلسل "نور" التركي

الشهير في وقت يرفض "عرض تجربة مصرية وعربية أصيلة". وقال "لا يهمهم أن يفسد (نور) عقول

الأولاد والبنات، المهم عندهم ألا تصل أي رسائل سياسية للناس".

وأضاف عكاشة إنهم "يخشون أن يثير المسلسل مقارنة بين عهد عبد الناصر والعهد الحالي (للرئيس حسني

مبارك) وبالطبع هي مقارنة محسومة لعبد الناصر، لكنهم بغير قصد صنعوا أكبر دعاية للمسلسل في مصر

والدول العربية".
